SPaCe Architects, Los Angeles studio, is seeking to employ an experienced Interior Architect/Designer with exceptional design and project management skills. The successful applicant will work on a range of projects in domestic and international markets.

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:

· 10+ years of professional experience
· Extensive experience working in English and/or European markets
· Excellent Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Interior Design or Furniture Design
· Must have experience working on multiple high end retail interiors projects with established brands
· Exceptional understanding of retail fixture design, furniture design and detailing
· Full understanding of materials, products and construction techniques
· Proven expertise in space planning
· Excellent hand drawn and computer skills, including AutoCAD (or equivalent transferrable), Photoshop and Sketchup
· Experience in Construction Document preparation and Construction Administration
· Outstanding leadership, organizational and communication skills
· Superior client interaction and vendor skills

These additional qualifications are advantageous:

· Studio management experience
· Confidence and proven ability in budget forecasting and project pricing
· Proven vendor negotiation skills
