SPaCe Architecture, Los Angeles studio, is seeking to employ an experienced Interior Architect/Designer with exceptional design and project management skills. The successful applicant will work on a range of projects in domestic and international markets.

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:

- 10+ years of professional experience
- Extensive experience working in English and/or European markets
- Excellent Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Interior Design or Furniture Design
- Must have experience working on multiple high end retail interiors projects with established brands
- Exceptional understanding of retail fixture design, furniture design and detailing
- Full understanding of materials, products and construction techniques
- Proven expertise in space planning
- Excellent hand drawn and computer skills, including AutoCAD (or equivalent transferrable), Photoshop and Sketchup
- Experience in Construction Document preparation and Construction Administration
- Outstanding leadership, organizational and communication skills
- Superior client interaction and vendor skills

These additional qualifications are advantageous:

- Studio management experience
- Confidence and proven ability in budget forecasting and project pricing
- Proven vendor negotiation skills
